I’m a certified swim instructor and founder of Leisha’s Mobile Swim School, proudly supporting families in Port Hedland. I offer personalised, in-home lessons designed to help children build confidence and essential water safety skills.

How I teach
A Gentle, Child-Led Approach to Learning
Every child learns differently in the water. My lessons focus on creating a calm, supportive environment where children can build water confidence at their own pace.
For some children — including those who may feel overwhelmed in busy pool environments — starting in a smaller, quieter setting can make a big difference. With fewer distractions and a predictable routine, children can focus on understanding how their body moves in the water and develop confidence step by step.
I place a strong emphasis on:
• Building trust first
• Creating positive water experiences
• Working with each child’s comfort level
• Celebrating small achievements along the way
This approach helps children feel safe, capable and proud of the progress they make in the water.
How many children per lesson?
Learn to swim lessons can be shared with another child of equal swim ability or the lesson can be split between children at no extra cost.
For infant (parent child classes) invite a friend or where there's multiple infants the instructor will assist.
Can you do lessons at the Public Pool?
No. I can not offer lessons at the public pool as a agreement with the Town of Port Hedland Swim School.
I cant find a day or time that suits?
Please send me a message with your availability and I will try to accommodate. Please keep in mind I'm restricted by daycare days and after school hours along with committed shifts at the Town of Port Hedland Swim School.

Do you accept cash payment?
Yes I do. Please contact me via text or email with the desired day and time from the calendar to book in for a class.
The system will allow you to see the calendar with available spaces however will not let you proceed to confirm the booking.
I have mulitple children under 3 can we do lessons?
Absolutely. You might have your hands full but having lessons at home can take the stress out of juggling multiple young children. Send me a message to find a solution to match your needs.
